F1 Academy Race 3 | 2025 Canadian GP | Chambers Wins from Pole

Chloe Chambers dominated from pole, claiming her first victory of the 2025 F1 Academy season in Race 3 of the 2025 Canadian GP weekend.

After struggling to make her mark in race one and two, Chloe Chambers proved why she is a championship contender. She kept the field behind her for the final outing in Montreal.

So Far This Weekend

After only one practice session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Chambers secured her third consecutive pole position of the season. Campos teammate Palmowski locked out the front row alongside her.

In Race 1, Dorian Pin secured her third win of the season and the championship lead after a dominant display. With two late safety cars, Pin managed to hold off Ella Lloyd in second. After post race disqualifications and penalties, Nina Gademan claimed third.

Race 2 on Saturday afternoon saw Emma Felbermayr claim her maiden F1 Academy race win. With Nicole Havrda bringing out another late safety car, it was a one lap sprint for the win. Felbermayr and Lloyd made moves past Gademan to take the top two steps of the podium.

Lights Out on the Final Race

Chambers got out to an early lead in Race 3 of the F1 Academy 2025 Canadian GP weekend.

Behind her, Palmowski spun off after drifting into Lloyd in turn three, dropping to the back of the field.

The first of three safety cars was brought out as Mathilda Paatz made contact with the wall. Aiva Anagnostiadis made contact with the wildcard driver, leaving both drivers out of the race.

Green Flag

After six laps under the safety car, F1 Academy was back racing.

Chambers, who is supported by Red Bull Ford, made the most of the restart, pulling away from Lloyd who trailed in second. Dorian Pin made her way past her Prema teammates into third, after dropping back on the opening lap.

Nina Gademan received a ten second time penalty after colliding with Felbermayr in the turn 10 hairpin. Both drivers were able to continue.

Block brings out second Safety Car

Lia Block brought out the second safety car on lap ten after running into the back of Rafaela Ferreira in turn eight.

It was the wrong place at the wrong time for Aurelia Nobles, who picked up significant front wing damage after colliding with a spun Ferreira. While the Racing Bulls supported driver was able to continue, Block and Nobles had to retire due to damage.

Marshals were quick to clear the debris, with the safety car returning to the pits at the end of lap 12.

Six Laps To Go

Chambers held onto her lead after making the most of the safety car restart. Pin and Lloyd trailed closely behind as the drivers went racing for the last six laps of Race 3.

Palmowski and Weug made the most of the restarts, both moving into the points. Palmowski, who was running dead last after her lap one incident, moved up into seventh. Meanwhile Weug, who qualified 15th, drover her way through the field and up into sixth place.

Checkered Flag under Safety Car

With only three laps to go, Race two winner Felbermayr collided into the back of Courtney Crone. Crone, who races for Haas operated by ART Grand Prix, was unable to continue the race.

With the 30 minute race time cap running out, the race was forced to end under the safety car.

Chloe Chambers collected her first victory of the season, with Lloyd crossing the line in second, and Pin rounding out the podium in third.

After winning Race 2 of the 2025 Canadian GP, Chambers is the first driver of the 2025 F1 Academy season to win from pole. Chambers held her own throughout the safety car ridden race, while Ella Lloyd was consistent throughout the whole weekend, securing second in every race in Montreal.
