Welcome to our Aragon GP Race Live Blog!

MotorLand Aragón has already delivered plenty of action this weekend.

Friday saw Bezzecchi, Marc and Álex separated by just 0.038s at the front, making it one of the closest top threes seen in MotoGP. Bezzecchi then carried that pace into Qualifying, taking pole with a new all-time lap record of 1:44.962 just 0.089s ahead of Marc Márquez. Álex Márquez completed the front row.

Marc struck back in Saturday’s Sprint. The Ducati rider made his move on Bezzecchi at Turn 1 and went on to claim a Sprint victory at Aragón. It was Márquez brothers 1-2 in front of what essentially is their home crowd as Álex took second place. Meanwhile, Bezzecchi held on for third despite late pressure from Pedro Acosta.

There are also a few familiar faces back on the grid this weekend. Johann Zarco and Fermín Aldeguer have both returned from injury and were cleared to compete after Friday’s medical checks. Zarco impressed on his comeback, finishing 11th in FP1, while Aldeguer ended the session ninth.

Elsewhere, Lorenzo Savadori is standing in for the injured Ai Ogura, while Pol Espargaró continues to replace Maverick Viñales.

With 23 laps ahead, Bezzecchi starting from pole, and Márquez brothers lining up next to him its all to play for at Aragón.
