Lewis Hamilton has officially begun his time at the Ferrari team. Arriving this week at Maranello for his first official day with the team.

The seven-time World Champion had to see out his contract with Mercedes until the end of December. Following this, he had a well-earnt holiday away from the sport.
Meaning that this week, is Hamilton’s first weekend to get accustomed to a brand new team, car and environment as well. It is an exciting time for Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari as it is the beginning of a new era. With Tifosi eager to see how this partnership plays out, many hopeful this can bring success to their beloved team.

What’s next for the pair?
Today is Hamilton’s first testing day in the Ferrari. As he was unable to partake in the post-season Abu Dhabi test, this is highly anticipated by Hamilton, Ferrari and the Tifosi.

The Ferrari driver is set to be testing the 2023 Ferrari F1 Car around Fiorano. This is the most recent car that is permitted under F1’s testing regulations. Allowing himself to get accustomed to the Ferrari machinery.
Alongside this testing, Hamilton has also been familiarising himself with the team in Maranello. As he will be spending lots of time there in the coming years.
Ferrari and Hamilton are hoping to etch themselves into the history books with this partnership. And with 50 days until the F1 season kicks off in Australia, there’s not long to wait for this era to begin.
