The return of the changeable conditions for the F1 FP3 session at the 2024 Dutch GP had an effect on most of the session’s running, notably Nico Hülkenberg and Logan Sargeant.

Early Running
The first fifteen minutes of FP3, was, as you would expect, tricky, with several cars taking to the escape roads due to a lack of grip, with Fernando Alonso and George Russell taking trips off the track.
HAAS and Nico Hülkenberg are still dealing with breaking issues from the previous session, it would appear that they still have to figure it out as the HAAS locked up under breaking sending the car into the barrier, fortunately Nico was able to return to the pits for a change of front wing.
Lewis Hamilton was in the Mercedes Garage laughing a joking with his Mechanics, he will be out at some point but not right now.

Red Flag – Logan’s (not) Run
With 15 minutes of the session gone Logan Sargeant’s Williams crashed between turn 4 and 5 after the American put his wheel onto the wet grass, pitching the car left into the barrier. Both front and rear of the car were massively damaged, with a fire in the Power Unit, fortunately Logan was unscathed, however it will be a surprise if the car will make it to qualifying.

Green Flag Running
The FP3 session returned to green flag running with only a few minutes left of the session, no driver was able to improve their times, however the drivers that did go out on to the track were able to gather some data on the inters and complete some practice starts at the end of the session.
Some drama for Max Verstappen, who crossed the white line on the exit of the pit lane, this led to Race Control to give the Redbull driver the black and white flag and probably a trip to the stewards.
Some drivers were able to get round and have one flying lap, this led to a very different top 3, with Gasly, Magnussen and Bottas taking the top 3 in the F1 FP3 session at the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix.
