The Trident Driver Goes Two-For-Two In Zandvoort- Picking Up His Second Victory Of The Season Back To Back.

A pole position start is not always as easy as it looks with the race leader losing the lead position to Victor Martins on the opening lap. Maloney waited patiently to sweep in and take the chequered flag for himself. Seeing off yellow flag drama during the race.

Martins has guaranteed that the title fight will go on till the very end, the ART Grand Prix driver kept his nose clean and out of trouble to secure the Eightteen points up for grabs for the second place. He ensured a smooth recovery to the Championship lead, the Argentinian Van Amersfoort Racing Driver coming home to make it third on the podium.

Roman Stanek brought home another decent amount of points for team Trident Racing in P4 ahead of Isack Hadjar in P5. Crawford managed to recover from a huge costly mistake early on and made it to P6 ahead of yesterday’s Sprint Race Winner Caio Collet in P7.

Coming in at P8 Sebastian Montoya collected just two points and finished top ten on his debut weekend, while Jonny Edgar took P9.

PREMA Racing’s Oliver Bearman ploughed this way up the field after a poor getaway to take P10 and the last of the points, while his teammate Arthur Leclerc could only just grasp P14.

What an overtake by Zane Maloney!

With the early start, the Sun only just taking its place in the sky, pole sitter Maloney set out to bring home a second consecutive win within his rookie season. However, with four of the six top title contenders lining up behind him on the first three rows it would be no easy feat. The ART Grand Prix driver nailed his getaway off the line, landing him immediately next to Maloney who was up the inside at Turn One. The Rookie attempted to keep him at bay but made a costly mistake which sent him wide soaring over the kerbs. Maloney managed to recover behind the Frenchman.

Further down the pack, Bearman’s race was off to a bad start which saw him lose three positions off the line. This allowed his teammate to close in on him with a lunge around the outside of Turn One but had no results.

With just one more race till the end of the season and the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Champion is crowned, who do you think will win? With only 5 points separating both Martins and Hadjar who will finish victorious?
