F1 Italian GP: Qualifying-Sainz Takes Pole

The Tifosi were rewarded with pole position as Carlos Sainz takes his first ever Monza pole, and he does it in Ferrari colours.

Max was pipped to the post in a thrilling Q3, whilst Charles Leclerc narrowly missed out, slotting into P3.

The Italian GP Is Ferrari’s To Lose

The special livery and race suits certainly brought Ferrari luck today as not only did Sainz put his Ferrari on pole but the drivers narrowly escaped sanction for Q1 out-lap infractions.

Ferrari took their 23rd pole at Monza, the most poles by any constructor at any circuit. If Ferrari needed a redemption performance it’s here in front of their home crowd.

Albon Shinning In The Williams

Whilst Ferrari were the headline act, it was another sensational qualifying from Alex Albon, who qualified 6th for Williams.

If Ferrari hadn’t pulled out an epic Q3, he would be the man of the hour.

But can he bring home a solid points haul tomorrow?
