F1 Dutch GP: Qualifying-Albon Steals The Show

The F1 Dutch GP is drama central and it’s only Saturday.

What a way to welcome us back after the summer break!

Rain, red flags and surprising Q3 appearances, qualifying had it all.

Six different cars in the top six.

A third pole for Verstappen at Zandvoort.

And one Williams driver stealing the show.

Wow. What a quali.

Albon Is A Future Champion

Verstappen unsurprisingly took pole position but it was Albon who stole the show.

After topping the timesheet in Q1 and qualifying in fourth he is proving that he has the makings of a future champion.

Flying around Zandvoort, Albon fans witnessed the young driver come into his own.

But can he put his Williams on the podium tomorrow?

As for his teammate, the excitement of reaching Q3 ended real quick.

His Q3 adventure lasted a single lap before he was in the barriers. But it was tough out there, and Williams will certainly take today as a huge win.

Hamilton Fans Look Away

Whilst Mercedes start on the second row with Russell, Lewis fans might be shedding some tears tonight.

With tyres overheating the seven time world champion couldn’t make it out of Q2.

It won’t be an easy race tomorrow but he’ll certainly be hoping for a good points haul.

Final Qualifying Result

Whilst Verstappen on pole feels awfully familiar, that was not your average qualifying session. If anyone thinks the season is boring, Zandvoort is here to prove the opposite!
