Victor Martins completes Formula 2 line-up

Victor Martins will continue his Formula 2 journey in 2025. Staying with ART Grand Prix for 2025, this is the Frenchman’s third season in the series.

Martins’ Formula 2 campaign began in 2023. Winning rookie of the year that season, the young driver made an immediate impact in the championship. Securing a race victory and finishing overall fifth in the standings, set him a part from the other rookies. He also played a vital role in helping ART secure a constructors championship that same year.

Martins will be partnering with Ritomo Miyata throughout the 2025 season. As they both venture toward winning another championship for ART.

Thoughts from Martins and ART

Reflecting on his return to ART Grand Prix, the 23-year-old expressed his enthusiasm about continuing with a team. A team that has helped secure some career highlights. With the pair winning the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup and the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship.

“I’m incredibly excited to continue this adventure with ART Grand Prix in 2025. We have a shared ambition: to give everything we have in pursuit of the championship title. I’m surrounded by the best people to help me achieve my ultimate dream—reaching Formula 1,” Martins said.

“This winter, we have worked hard to refine every area that needed improvement from last season. Now, the focus shifts to delivering results on track. The season is about to begin, and we are fully concentrated on pre-season testing in Barcelona.”

ART Grand Prix Team Principal Sébastien Philippe gave his thoughts on the sigining. Demonstrating the team’s confidence in Martins.

“Continuing with Victor was an obvious choice. We share a strong history, having celebrated victories and tackled challenges together. He has consistently proven his speed and talent, showing that he belongs at the front of the Formula 2 grid.

With a familiar team behind him a, Martins will be aiming to add ‘Formula 2 Chapion’ to his resume at the end of 2025.
