As the 2025 Formula 3 Championship begins at the Australian Grand Prix, these are the drivers to watch this weekend.
Louis Sharp
Louis Sharp is a new addition to the Formula 3 championship. The Kiwi Driver, who has been credited with winning British Formula 4 and GB3, will make the step up in 2025.
Sharp has demonstrated his talent throughout the lower formula categories, competing against several of his rivals this season again. Despite being in his rookie season, the young driver is eager to fight for the championship immediately.
“βI want to be fighting at the front. I want to be fighting for consistent points and race wins. And ultimately, in the end, I want to be fighting for a championship.”
As Sharp attempts to claim a ‘three-peat’ in championships, he will be one to watch.

Ugo Ugochukwu
The Macau Formula Regional champion, Ugochukwu, should be on every fan’s radar coming into his first race.
The McLaren development driver has been extremely consistent throughout his feeder’s career. With his breakout moment coming last season. Being able to win the Macau Grand Prix is a feat very few drivers achieve. However, at just 17 years old, the American driver conquered it.
PREMA has been an ever-consistent team in Formula 3, boosting his chances at a potential podium or win this weekend.
Campos Racing Drivers
The trio of Campos Racing are sitting in box seats for the 2025 campaign.
With Boya, Tsolov & Inthraphuvasak all having seasons of F3 under their belt, Campos are the only team to not field a rookie in 2025. This gives the team an experience advantage.
Many teams and drivers may not have as much knowledge or experience with certain tracks on the calendar, such as Australia. However, having raced here before, the team and drivers are aware of what needs to be done to succeed.
The Campos team, with their experienced line-up, are most definitely a force to be reckoned with over this weekend.

The 2025 Formula 3 Championship kicks off this weekend in Melbourne. With a brand new era of F3, and an inexperienced grid, who will come out on top?
