Sprint Weekend
The F1 commission has agreed a change to the Weekend order. The 2023 season saw both Sprint ‘qualifying and the race held on the Saturday, with FP1, GP Qualifying on the Friday and the Grand Prix remaining on Sunday.

However, from 2024, the order will change to the following Free Practice and Sprint Qualifying will be held on Friday, the race and Grand Prix Qualifying on the Saturday and the GP on the Sunday.
Presumably, these changes are to give the whole weekend meaning, as the previous order would make Saturday in someways redundant.
Power Unit Changes and DRS
Discussions regarding the Power Units also took place with the allocation of Power Units increasing from 3 to 4 for 2024 and 2025.
DRS has also been altered, with the activation of DRS now taking place one lap after the start of the race or the restart after a Safety Car.
All agreed changes will have to be approved by the World Motorsport Council.
