A report from The Sun claims that the Portuguese football player will be ‘requested to attend’ the race as part of his £173 million contract with the Saudi Arabian Al-Nassr club.

Ronaldo started playing for Al-Nassr after leaving Manchester United in December. Manchester United terminated his contract after he criticised manager Erik ten Hag and the club’s owners in an interview.
Cristiano Ronaldo is no stranger to attending Formula 1 races, having been spotted at the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix posing alongside Sir Lewis Hamilton.
More recently, he visited Ferrari‘s Maranello headquarters in 2021, meeting Charles Leclerc.
