Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Red Bull KTM Tech3 unveil their 2026 liveries.
The start of the 2026 MotoGP is rapidly approaching. We’ve had six teams launch their liveries in the past two weeks. This week it was the turn of both the Red Bull KTM teams in revealing their colours to the world.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing
First we have the factory team, with Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta hoping to bring success on the track. The livery itself is the distinctive Red Bull design that the world has come to know like the back of their hand. There’s been some retouches, but the team feel that it’s the numbers that will define the campaign. Everything from timings on track, the hours of work by their staff, and the weeks of planning by engineers and strategists.
Brad Binder reflected on the difficulties he faced last year, and has a positive mindset heading into 2026:
“Last year I felt like I was thinking the whole time on the motorbike, instead of letting just my natural ability take over and that’s one thing that I want to change for this season. Just really enjoy riding the bike a bit more. I’m quite confident that I can make a good step up.”
Team Manager, Aki Ajo, also believes in the potential within the team for a strong season:
“We know the potential of the bike, the riders, the teams and the group. This means we can be excited about the potential for 2026 but we will keep patience in the work and focus.”

Red Bull KTM Tech3
The 2026 season sees both teams using the last iteration of the RC16. New technical regulations coming in 2027 will force teams to think ahead whilst battling it out on track over the coming months. But Red Bull KTM are aiming high. The Tech3 team in particular saw some strong results towards the end of 2025. A consortium of new owners, headed by CEO Guenther Steiner, will all be watching like hawks.
The pressure may be on, but Enea Bastianini is certainly feeling more confident. This is his second season with the team, acne he acknowledges the strength in familiarity:
“2026 will be different because I will know more about the bike, about the team. I think I will be much stronger.”
Meanwhile, Maverick Viñales reminisced about the help he received from the Red Bull APC team following his shoulder injury at Sachsenring last year. With his eyes firmly focused on the upcoming season, it’s given him a boost and he wants to pay it back to the team:
“Now, I feel that I have a big responsibility to make this project a winning project. This is something really nice because I always feel that when I have this type of pressure – when I have this type of responsibility – I am at my best.”

We’re Not Done Yet
We still have BK8 Gresini Racing, LCR Honda and Honda HRC Castrol yet to reveal their 2026 liveries. The Sepang Shakedown has now concluded, and next up is the Sepang Test. This in itself is swiftly followed by the Buriram Test, and before we know it we’ll be watching lights out for the first time in 2026. The rider market is in a frenzy, the domino effect being triggered by Fabio Quartararo’s shock move to Honda.
2026 is going to be a wild ride, and we’re so ready for it.
