Meet Noah Strømsted, the Danish driver who has been promoted to compete in the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship.
Beginnings In Formula 4
In 2021, Strømsted joined the F4 Danish Championship at the third round, competing with FSP Racing.
Remarkably, after taking victory on his debut outing, and winning another race that weekend, this meant the Danish driver became one of the youngest ever race winners in Formula 4. Strømsted had just turned 14 years old at the time.
Also winning the final six races in the Championship, this meant that Strømsted placed second in the overall standings, despite having missed the opening two rounds.
Following this, the driver stepped up to Spanish F4 in 2022 with Campos Racing during the penultimate round. This was because he was forced to wait until he turned 15 to compete in the series.
A strong stint saw Strømsted finish eighth in Race One, fifth in Race Two, and also score pole for the main race on Sunday.
Therefore, Strømsted remained with Campos Racing for the full 2023 F4 Spanish Championship.
Overall, he was classified seventh in the Championship, with 135 points and three podiums. A highlight included a double podium at the Circuito de Navarra.
Success In Formula Regional
In 2023, Strømsted joined the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship with RPM as a guest driver. In his debut race, he finished in sixth position.
For his main campaign in the series, Stromsted remained with RPM for the Formula Regional European Championship.
Ending the season with 121 points and four podiums, the Danish driver finished seventh in the standings and won the rookie title.
Strømsted’s F3 Stint
The Danish driver replaced Oliver Goethe for the Formula 3 season finale in Monza last year, after Goethe stepped up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Joining the Campos Racing line-up alongside Mari Boya and Sebas Montoya, Strømsted had a strong debut, finishing 17th and 23rd in the races.
Therefore, Noah Strømsted has now been promoted to FIA Formula 3 full-time for the 2025 season, where he will be partnering Charlie Wurz and Rafael Camara at Trident.
The 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship begins at the Australian Grand Prix on 14-16 March, 2025.
