LIVE BLOG | Singapore GP – Sprint Race

Welcome to our Singapore GP Sprint Live Blog!

Singapore has already delivered an eventful start to the weekend. George Russell topped the only practice session ahead of Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. Charles Leclerc looked like the man to beat for much of sprint qualifying. However, it was Max Verstappen who charged to Sprint Qualifying pole under the lights ahead of Russell and Leclerc.

Sergio Perez brought out an early red flag after hitting the barriers in SQ1. Meanwhile, Russell recovered to secure a front-row start despite a lock-up in SQ2 and a grid penalty hanging over him. Leclerc and Oscar Piastri will start just behind them, with Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton completing the third row.

With overtaking difficult around the Marina Bay Street Circuit, there is plenty to watch for around the Marina Bay street circuit. Can Red Bull convert pole into a win, or will Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren fight back?
