Balaton Park has already been an interesting weekend, with KTM, Ducati and Aprilia all trading blows at the front as the championship battle continues to tighten.
Pedro Acosta has been the standout so far, dominating Friday’s Practice session with a commanding margin over the field and firmly establishing himself as a genuine contender this weekend. However, Saturday brought a strong response from Marc Márquez, who bounced back in style to take the Sprint victory and remind everyone that even while managing his return from surgery, he remains a major force in this title fight.
Behind them, Aprilia continue to show strong all-round pace with Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín both consistently inside the mix, while Ducati’s threat remains ever-present across long runs and qualifying pace alike.
With Acosta’s race pace, Márquez’s Sprint form, and several key contenders still in the mix, Sunday’s Grand Prix promises an interesting race around one of the newest circuits on the calendar.
