In a not so surprising move, Williams Racing will part company with Nicholas Latifi at the end of the season.
Latifi was signed to Williams as a test driver for the 2019 season before being promoted to a race seat in 2020.
Latifi’s time in Formula 1 has been a topic of discussion for most of the season. The Canadian driver has been off the pace of his teammate Alex Albon, who is enjoying a good season after a year on the side lines in 2021.
The writing was on the wall after Nyck De Vries, a late replacement for Alex Albon out qualified Latifi and finished in the points on his Formula 1 debut.
