Rallycross driver for Honnigan Racing division dies in a snowmobiling accident.
Terrible news to report coming into the new year as Rally driver Ken Block dies at the age of 55 in a snowmobiling accident in Utah.
The Wasatch County sheriff’s department reported that Block had been riding in the Mill Hollow area when his snowmobile upended on a steep slope and landed on top of him. Block was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
Block had competed in many forms of Rally, from FIA World Rallycross Championship, Global Rallycross Championship, Rally America and WRC. He was well known in the motorsport world.
