Will Hamilton make the move to Ferrari?
For many of us Hamilton fans we wish nothing more than to see ‘Hamilton to Ferrari’.
Why?
Because most of the greats have driven for Ferrari. Prost, Fangio, Lauda and Schumacher just to name a few.
But will the 7 time champ have his time to shine at Ferrari? Will the Tifosi be screaming for Lewis anytime soon?

Snub The Tifossi
Lewis Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes expires at the end of the season. But perhaps he’ll never drive for Ferrari…
For most drivers, whether they admit it or not, they want to drive for Ferrari. It’s a symbol more than anything.
But with their current lackluster performance and the pressure of being a Ferrari driver will Lewis avoid a Ferrari move? Perhaps Hamilton will do a Senna. Aka snubbing Ferrari because he wouldn’t be able to win there.
Whilst Hamilton certainly has the skills to help the team chase a win, after 16 years of Ferrari not winning the Drivers Championships would he take such a risk?
No Hard Feelings?
But this is not a one sided decision. Hamilton to Ferrari may sound crazy but with current issues at Mercedes it’s not that farfetched.
Lewis has certainly not tried to hide his frustrations with the team. With Toto Wolff even admitting that the team risks losing Hamilton if they can’t return to the front of the grid.
Gerhard Berger (former Austrian F1 driver) reckons “If he [Lewis] doesn’t get a competitive car in Mercedes and doesn’t find a place in Red Bull, he may think ‘I don’t want to finish my career yet, but I want to try with Ferrari. Maybe I’ll fix the situation.’”
But despite Lewis’ complaints he continues to emphasise that he will never leave the Mercedes family.
But in Formula 1 “family” means nothing.
It is ruthless.
And no one wants to reveal their cards.
