HAAS CANNOT CATCH A BREAK…. (or a plane)

Its just over 3 days away from the second test at the Bahrain International circuit and unfortunately HAAS are at risk of not arriving in time for the first day.

HAAS havent been out of the news for very long at all over the last week or so. Wrapped up in the complications of having a Russian sponsor and a Russian driver, which they had to part ways with due to the current conflict between neighbouring countries Russia and Ukraine.

Now it seams that even more trouble has hit the American owned outfit. The cargo plane that was supposed to be transporting the teams equipment and cars, has broken down at Istanbul Airport. Leaving the freight containers stuck at Doncaster Airport.

The only hope at the moment is, for them to move the freight via lorries to the East Midlands airport where they are hoping a replacement aeroplane will be available.

Its just another complcation in a series of complications to plague the team on the run up to the start of the season.

HAAS have confirmed they will be testing the 2022 car with drivers Mick Schumacher and reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi during the second test, however the team were looking for someone with a bit more experience to replace outgoing Nikita Mazepin for the full season. The news of which will be released on Wednesday.
