REPORTS ARE SUGGESTING THAT FORMULA 1 ARE SETTING UP AN ALL FEMALE FEEDER SERIES TO BEGIN IN 2023

With W-Series cancelling the remaining races in the 2022 season due to financial issues, questions were raised over Formula 1 ‘s inaction to help the series fulfill the remaining races in the 2022 calendar.

If reports are true, Formula 1’s silence will be understandable, with them planing to bring in their own all female series.

Jamie Chadwick is a three time champion for the W-Series, however has not been able to make it in F3 or F2 .

The series aims to bring a clearer path for female drivers within the pyramid system, moving up from the new series to F3, F2 and Formula 1.

There has not been a female Formula 1 driver since the 1976 Austrian GP.

The idea would be to have around 15 seats, bringing in drivers who are in their teens as the thought within the Formula 1 paddock that the women who enter the W-Series are already too old to realistically make it to Formula 1.
