The second practice session of the London E-Prix saw Envision driver Robin Frijns, set the benchmark time of the session, with a 1:10.544. Oliver Rowland finished in second, after a spin, and Sebastian Buemi closed the top three.
The penultimate round of the 2024 Formula E season kicked off with the last chance to change any settings before Qualifying and Race 1.
The London E-Prix FP saw several mishaps
Yesterday’s session saw quite a few mistakes from the drivers, including Dan Ticktum, going too fast into the double chicane that starts at T10. Ticktum got a reprimand for not following the instructions of the race director. Instead of going through the slip road, he spun around to get back on track.
The lights went green for the final practice of the day and the green Envision cars looked strong, with Robin Frijns and Sebastian Buemi setting the pace in 1-2. Frijns was on hot laps and took kerbs at the chicane. Both drivers slid down a couple of places.

The drivers were really pushing during the session, putting in good times. Jaguar driver and current championship leader, Nick Cassidy, was in first, followed by Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein.
Maximilian Günther also jumped into the top 3 with Lucas Di Grassi, but Cassidy took his top spot back.
Hot laps were now coming in and Wehrlein was the first driver to break into the 1:10s. Cassidy clocked a 1:10.748, just three hundredths ahead of Wehrlein.
Nissan driver Oliver Rowland had a minor mishap, spinning in the penultimate corner, but it was Robin Frijns who set the benchmark time of the second London E-Prix day, with a 1:10.544.
