F3 Feature Race | Italian GP | Campos Claims Teams Championship

It was a dramatic finish to the 2026 F3 Season with Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak victorious in the F3 Feature Race at the Italian Grand Prix.

In a Feature Race full of safety cars, it was Campos Racing who came out on top. The Spanish side not only claimed a double podium but clinched the 2025 F3 Teams Championship of Trident Racing.

So Far This Weekend…

Brad Benavides stormed across the line to take pole position for the second time this year at the Italian Grand Prix. While topping the sheets in Group B, Ugo Ugochukwu qualified second behind Benavides.

While Tim Tramnitz claimed victory on track, a spot race penalty handed Roman Bilinksi the F3 Sprint Race win at the Italian Grand Prix. In an intense race at Monza, he was closely followed by Martinius Stenshorne and Laurens Van Hoepen, who rounded out the podium.

Whilst the driver’s championship has already been confirmed, there are still places to play for in 2025. The runners-up in the driver’s standings are all to play for, with Campos teammates Boya and Tsolov in an intense battle for the podium places in the championship. Campos are also locked in a battle with Trident for the constructors championship this season.

Lights Out!

It was lights out on the final race of the 2025 F3 Season with Brad Benavides leading the rest of the field around Monza for the final Feature Race. The field flew through the first few corners, with Ugo Ugochukwu pressuring Benavides for the lead.

The first Safety Car came out quickly, with Trident’s Charlie Wurz picking up suspension damage. Wurz has had a weekend to forget, picking up his second DNF of the weekend.

The Green Flag was out quickly with Benavides and Ugochukwu both clean off the start.

While the Prema driver briefly overtook Benavides through the parabolic. The polesitter was quick to regain the lead heading into Lap 4.

Fernando Barrichello brought out the second safety car of the race on Lap 4. Barrichello, who made his Formula 3 debut this weekend, beached his AIX in the gravel on the Ascari Chicane.

No Rest For The Safety Car

The Green Flag was out and the field was flying into the seventh lap of the F3 Feature Race at the Italian Grand Prix. However, the gravel on the track proved to be too much for Ugochukwu, who spun out and beached his car in the gravel on the Ascari Chicane.

With three safety cars in the first 10 laps, it was F3 Champion Rafael Camara who made the most of the limited racing, moving up to 10 places from his back row start.

The final safety car restart proved to be crucial for Benavides. The American was able to pull away from Tsolov, Inthraphuvasak and Nael Leon as they battled for second.

Nikita Johnson briefly bought out a yellow flag after spinning but was able to get his car going again.

The fight was own for the win, with both Campos drivers, Benavides and Leon all wanting to make their mark on the final race of the 2025 F3 Season.

With DRS in full force at the ‘Temple of Speed’, Benavides was able to overtake Tsolov for the lead after losing out earlier.

Matías Zagazeta was launched into the air after losing his front wing. The DAMS Lucas Oil Driver was able to stay on track before beaching his car in the gravel.

Van Hoepen and Domingues briefly came together through turns one and two but were both able to keep their cars on track.

Campos Leads, Trident Hunting

After a poor qualifying, the remaining Trident drivers were fogging for the points. By Lap 16, Camara had recovered from 30th into the points, while Stromsted was ahead in 6th.

Camara showed fans his racing abilities, moving from tenth into sixth through the first chicane.

While Trident were quickly gaining points, the Campos drivers were able to pull away again. Inthraphuvasak moved past Benavides into first, with Tsolov following closely behind in second.

On Lap 19, Camara was able to move past yesterday’s Sprint Race winner Roman Bilinksi into fifth, making his charge for the podium.

To The Checkered Flag

With only three laps to go, Leon was able to overtake Benavides for the final podium place.

Nicola Lacorte brought out the final yellow flag of the F3 Feature Race, coming to a stop along the main straight.

With the checkered flag flying, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak claimed his first feature race win, and his third victory of the 2025 F3 season. Nikola Tsolov claimed second in the Feature Race. While Nael was able to pick up crucial points for his 2025 campaign.

2025 Final Standings

With Mari Boya only able to finish ninth, Red Bull Junior Tsolov was able to overtake the Aston Martin Junior for second in the Drivers Championship. Camara proved once again why he was able to claim the 2026 championship one weekend early, having a dominant display from 30th to 5th.

It was Campos’ day, with the Spanish outfit securing crucial points to overtake Trident Racing for the Teams Championship. MP Motorsport was able to hang onto third in the teams championship.
