Nina Gademan took the win in F1 Academy Race 1 at the 2025 Dutch GP for PREMA Racing, supported by Alpine. Lia Block secured her first podium for ART Grand Prix, supported by Williams, with Maya Weug taking third for MP Motorsport, supported by Ferrari.

Nina Gademan lined up on Pole for PREMA Racing, supported by Alpine. Tina Hausmann joined her on the front row, with Lia Block starting in third.

Esmee Kosterman, this weekend’s Wildcard Entry for Hitech TGR supported by TeamViewer, was due to line up in ninth.

However, the Dutch driver was asked to “box” by her engineers so she could start from the pit lane.

Lights Out

It was a good start from Gademan, who comfortably held the lead.

Williams supported driver Block overtook Hausmann into Turn 1 as it was a close battle between the front-runners.

Chloe Chong reported that she had a puncture at the end of the first lap, pitting to solve the issue.

Safety Car

It was disaster for Hausmann in third as the Aston Martin supported driver found the barrier on the exit of Turn 8.

Firstly, a yellow flag was waved in Sector 3, before the full Safety Car was bought out.

Green Light

Gademan comfortably held the lead once again as the green light was shown.

Ella Lloyd was able to make the move on Doriane Pin for third after the Mercedes supported driver ran wide.

Consequently, Maya Weug was also on the attack as she fights for the championship.

Ten Laps Remaining

On Lap 7, Weug was able to make the move on her rival to take fourth.

In addition, Chloe Chambers successfully pressured Alisha Palmowski for sixth.

With eight laps remaining, Weug had the pace to take the final podium position from Lloyd after a hard-fought battle.

Continuing their battle for fifth, Chambers also overtook championship-leader Pin.

The black and orange flag was waved for Alba Larsen, who was forced to pit for a front-wing change.

Further down the grid, it was a respectable twelfth for Kosterman after her pit-lane start.

Five Laps Remaining

With five laps remaining, Weug was lapping the fastest sector times as she charged to close the gap to the top two.

However, the battle for the lead was also underway as Block closed to just +0.8s behind Gademan. Weug sat +1.4s behind in third.

Larsen’s day seemingly went from bad to worse after receiving a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision.

There was contact between Lloyd and Chambers as the Red Bull Ford supported driver tried to take fourth.

As the final laps approached, the Dutch driver extended her lead to over one second, hunting for her first win in the series.
