Former F1 driver Nikita Mazepins’ father has had his €100 million Sardinian property seized by the
Italians.

The sprawling estate, also known as Rocky Ram, reportedly boasts a swimming pool and unrivalled views around Port Cervo.

The port in question is also known as a hotspot for millionares’ and regularly hosts superyachts.

It is reported the villa belongs to the Mazepin family through a “foreign company”, details of which are currently unknown.

The EU recently claimed Dmitry Mazepin and his business provided “substantial revenue” to the
Russian government, with Mazepin himself reportedly being a member of Putin’s “closest circle”.

Nikita Mazepin was named as a Haas driver for 2022 with backing from the Russian chemicals firm Uralkali. The company in question is part owned by his father. In light of the invasion, Mazepin had his contract terminated in March.

Italy has previously seized properties linked to talk show host Vladimir Solovyov, who is known to be a supporter of Putin. They have also seized yachts and villas with an apparent combined value of €900 million belonging to coal magnate Andrey Melninchenko.
