Damson Idris has been cast to star alongside Brad Pitt in the Lewis Hamilton produced Formula 1 Movie.
Damson Idris has previously starred in the likes of Snowfall, Black Mirror and The Twilight Zone, joins the team lead by Director Joseph Kosinski.

The title of the film is as yet unknown, but is said to follow a veteran racing driver(Brad Pitt) returning to the grid for one last hurrah. Damson Idris will play Brad Pitt’s teammate.
Lewis Hamilton will be producing the film with the team behind Top Gun: Maverick, Jerry Bruckheimer, writer Ehren Kruger and Director Kosinski.
The Formula 1 movie will soon start production at Grand Prix weekends, according to Ted Kravitz. The Sky Sports F1 pitlane reporter revealed that filmmakers will shoot over race weekends to put together the new film. They have also built a full camera car ready to shoot on-track action at the events.
The crew have already attended the paddock of Formula 1 for research purposes. Brad Pitt famously gave the cold shoulder too Martin Brundle on his famous grid walk, although he apologised at a later time.
It is not yet known when filming will begin on the project, although we are sure to hear more about it and see more of the development when it does.
