CONFIRMED! ANOTHER 2 SEASONS OF NETFLIX’S DRIVE TO SURVIVE

The news we’ve all been expecting has finally been announced. However it’s not just one season of the show that has been confirmed but TWO!

Yes that’s right TWO seasons due on Netflix, usual release date is March to coincide with the start of the new season. So expect March ’23 and ’24 consecutively.

Netflix has already had four thrilling seasons of epic Formula 1 storytelling. However it hasn’t been without controversy. Some fans and drivers for that matter have accused the series of creating the drama and forcing rivalries that aren’t really there. Not to mention using different radio messages at completely inaccurate time frames.

Whether reigning world champion Max Verstappen will be involved, we’re yet to find out as the star driver previously declined the opportunity as he feels it manufacturers stories and takes things out of context.

Formula 1 have however spoken to the creators this year with the intention of dealing with the increase in drama. After all, there is and should be enough drama, telling an accurate representation of an F1 season without the additional extras.

Netflix’s Drive to Survive has been integral to the introduction of new fans to the sport and has also been hailed for finally helping Formula 1 break into America.

In just 1 day’s time we are heading to Miami for a brand new grand prix around the ̶c̶a̶r̶p̶a̶r̶k̶ ‘Streets of Miami’ *cough* which undoubtedly wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the attention the sport has, thanks to DTS.

One person who will be pleased and who loves being in front of the camera will be Red Bull team boss Christian Horner.

Who is looking forward to the 2 new seasons?
