COLTON HERTA SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT

Andretti Autosport and Colton Herta have agreed a contract extension to the end of the 2027 season.

Colton Herta, who impressed on a recent Formula 1 test with Mclaren was courted by Redbull to fill the seat left by Gasly (who eventually moved to Alpine) however the Indycar winner, Herta did not have the required 40 points needed to gain a super licence. This led to Redbull signing Nyck De Vries for 2023.

Colton will be hoping that his long term deal will allow come more consistent performances on track in 2023 and beyond. He will be partnered with Romain Grosjean, Kyle Kirkwood and Devlin DeFrancesco.
