The British 17-year-old has been confirmed to race for Campos Racing in the 2025 season of Formula 2. Lindblad becomes the second driver to be confirmed for 2025. With championship winner Leonardo Fornaroli being announced last week as Invicta Racings 2025 pick.

This promotion follows an outstanding rookie season from the Red Bull Junior driver. He was able to finish his first season in 4th overall with 113 points, just 40 off the title winner. However, Lindblad’s consistent F3 campagin allowed his team to walk away as back-to-back constructors champions.

Whilst his F3 campaign was short lived, he still managed to have an amazing maiden season. With the standout moment of not only his but the entire season being him doing the double at his home in Silverstone. Winning both the sprint and feature races at his home track, was not only iconic but also record-setting. The teen became the first driver in Formula 3 history to do the double in a weekend. Stamping his mark on the category and demonstrating his talent and potential in the sport.

Formula 2 Promotion

Lindblad views this promotion as a boost in his journey toward securing a full-time Formula 1 seat. He’s looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow Red Bull academy graduates like Yuki Tsunoda, Alex Albon, and Max Verstappen.

Eager to get started, Lindblad said, “I’m excited to join the long list of drivers who have raced for this team.” With his eyes on a promising future, he added, “Campos Racing will provide me with the tools and knowledge to keep growing as a driver, and together we’ll push each other to improve.”

Both Isack Hadjar and Pepe Martí will continue racing for the team in the 2024 seasons. As the team hope to deliver a drivers and constructors championship.
