ANDREAS SEIDL APPOINTED AS SAUBER CEO

Andreas Seidl joins Sauber as CEO.

Andrew Benson, BBC Chief F1 writer, tweeted this morning with the news that Andreas Seidl looks to be heading out of McLaren and over to Sauber. Seidl will replace the departing Vassuer who will head to Marinello to take on the Team Principal role for Ferrari.

Sauber has confirmed that Andreas Seidl will take on the role as CEO. He leaves Mclaren after almost 4 years as Team Principal.

His first job will be to find a replacement for Fred Vassuer, who left to become Ferrari’s Team Principal.
