Today it was announced Alice Powell will compete in the 2022 season of W Series with the ‘Click2Drive Bristol Street Motors Racing W Series Team’.
With a total of four victories and nine podium finishes to her name, Powell has thrived in her W Series campaign. Finishing third and second in the previous two seasons, there is undoubtedly a maiden title in touching distance.
Regarding the upcoming season, Alice says:
“I’m delighted to be back and fully focused on W Series this year.”
“Hopefully I’ll have the right tools to launch another strong bid for the title and be able to win the championship. I’ve finished third and second in the two previous seasons, so surely number one is next.”
Given her achievements it was unsurprising for her to be highly sought-after for this season, and in partnering with Bristol Street Motors, she has made a cyclical return to one of her first sponsors. Proud to represent the team, Powell states:
“Being with a British team is really nice … and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

As suggested by the Chief Exec, she is a real trailblazer for females in motorsport and her success doesn’t just lie in her W Series campaign. Powell became the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and just two years later, the first woman to score points in GP3.
