The final piece of the 2022 F1 car puzzle has been put in place. This morning the Alfa Romeo team revealed their new livery ahead of the season.
After having a camouflage livery for the first test in Barcelona, the Alfa Romeo team revealed their new livery online in a quite low key affair. Simply posting the images. Although there will be a press conference shortly. Any updates will be added to this post.
Initial thoughts are that its quite a good looking car. They’ve changed a fair bit and added a lot more burgundy. A nice touch is adding the colour to the wheel covers, which is something fans have been wanting the teams to do after some teams chose to simply ignore them. Its nice to incorporate them into the car design.
Testing in Barcelona wasn’t great for the team however, both Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou clocked very few competitive laps. So they will certainly be looking to change that when the circus heads to Bahrain for the second test.
