As the 2025 Formula 3 season approaches, AIX Racing is ready to take on a fresh challenge. With two rookie drivers confirmed – Javier Sagrera and Nicola Marinangeli – the team is preparing for an exciting campaign. However, their full lineup is not yet complete, as their third driver is yet to be announced. However, the final driver is rumoured to have at least one year of F3 experience to bring additional expertise to the lineup.

Javier Sagrera: Ready for A New Challenge
Sagrera is entering the season with a mindset built on resilience and ambition. He was provisionally named the 2024 Eurocup-3 champion until Christian Ho’s appeal succeeded in transferring the title to him. However, he has not let this moment dampen his excitement for the coming season.
“I always say that things happen for a reason, and I don’t want to focus too much energy on things I can’t control […] This season, I have a bigger challenge, new opportunities, and a bigger category to try for”
Despite being new to the category, Javier refuses to set limits on himself. His approach is simple: absorb as much as possible and push for strong results.
“I know I’m a rookie, so I need to learn a lot and take everything step by step. But every time I put my helmet on, I’m aiming for wins. I have no expectations. The key is to learn and capitalize from every scenario.”
Nicola Marinangeli: Readjusting and Aiming for Points
For Nicola, the focus is on adaptation. Moving into Formula 3 presents new challenges, particularly in terms of driving style and understanding the car’s dynamics. After a few seasons in GT racing, Marinangeli will need to readapt to single-seater racing.
“For sure, I need to readapt my driving style, so we will work harder, and I’ll try to do my best to score some points this season.”
While his approach may be more measured than Sagrera’s, Marinangeli remains determined to make the most of his opportunities. Consistency will be key for him as he looks to accumulate valuable points and prove his potential.
AIX Racing’s Road Ahead
With a new car and two highly motivated drivers, AIX Racing is entering 2025 with optimism. The Melbourne opener will be the first real test for the grid in terms of understanding the new car. For AIX, both drivers are eager to showcase what they can achieve on the grid. As the season unfolds, AIX Racing will be looking to maximize every opportunity and establish itself as a force in Formula 3.
