With the 2022 fast approaching soon for Formula 1,2 and 3. Lets look into the confirmed full line up of the F2 drivers this season. With the 11 teams racing, only 1 team does not include a rookie which is HITECH Grand Prix, which finished 4th in the constructors standing last season with drivers Liam Lawson and Juri Vips who finished 6th and 9th respectively.

However this season Liam Lawson moves to Carlin and in replacement Marcus Armstrong will be stepping into the HITECH Car having raced in DAMS in the previous season. He will be driving with Juri Vips for his second season with HITECH.

Looking at the other teams; Prema Racing who won the constructors championship last year which had a winning driver line-up including the 2021 F2 Champion Oscar Pisatri and runner up Robert Sharwtzman. With Oscar moving to F1 as Alpine reserve driver sees an open seat where rookie 2021 F3 Champion Dennis Hauger filling the seat. Robert Sharwtzman also has left F2 in search for a spot in F1, as Ferrari Driver Academy member will be the test driver for Ferrari for the 2022 season, but has not officially announced the rest of his 2022 racing season plans. Thus joining Dennis Hauger in the Prema is F2 driver Jehan Daruvala whom drove for Carlin last season.

Carlin as mentioned includes Liam Lawson alongside with him is rookie American Logan Sargent moving from F3 into F2 this season.

UNI- Virtuosi Racing sees 2021 driver Guanyu Zhou moving to F1 as driver for Alfa Romeo for this season thus Virtousi racing line up includes returning f2 driver Marino Sato whom he leaves team Trident alongside rookie F3 driver Jack Doohan.

Returning F2 driver Richard Vershoor sees him switching from MP Motorsport to Trident this season. Driver alongside him this season for Trident is Australian rookie driver Calan Williams.

MP Motorsport this season includes previously 2021 Virtuosi Racing driver Brazilian Felipe Drugovich driving with F2 Rookie former Trident driver Frenchman Clément Novalak.

ART Grand Prix includes for his second consecutive season, but third season overall with the team Théo Pourchaire, Christian Lundgaard will not be returning for F2 this season. His replacement another F3 Rookie Frederik Vesti whom raced for ART in the F3 2021 season.

Campos Racing like ART sees a driver returning back this season however its Ralph Boschung returning for his third consecutive season and forth season overall driving for Campos.

With Marcus Armstrong move to HITECH, DAMS sees rookie previously F3 driver Ayumu Iwasa with second season returning driver and 2021 F1 Williams Reserve driver Roy Nissay. It is not confirmed yet whether he will be returning as Williams reserve driver for this coming season.

Charouz Racing System sees Enzo Fittipaldi returning for his second season having drove for Charouz both in F2 and F3 last season. Alongside him is rookie Cem Bölükbaşı whom comes not from F3 like other rookies but from various racing competitions last season including F3 Asian Championship, GT4 European Series and European Le Mans Series- LMP3 to name a few.

And to finish the F2 Official line-up is debuting their team this year is Van Amersfoort Racing who is replacing team HWA Racelab includes British driver returning for his third F2 season having previously drove for HWA Racelab who is also the F1 simulator driver for teams such as Aston Martin and Mercedes. Joining him for Van Amersfoort is rookie Amaury Cordeel who left F3 driving for Campos to progress to the next division of Motorcar racing.

With testing starting in March in Bahrain and in Barcelona in April; this 14 Round season is shaping to be interesting with the amount of rookies and switches of drivers between teams and again not to mention a new team debuting this year.
