MICK SCHUMACHER OUT NICO HULKENBERG IN

HAAS HAVE CONFIRMED THAT NICO HULKENBERG WILL DRIVE FOR THE TEAM IN 2023.

The long running saga at HAAS is finally over with confirmation that Nico Hulkenberg returns to the F1 grid.

Nico has been out of F1 since 2019, returning to F1 as a substitute for for drivers who had caught COVID.

Unfortunately, HAAS’s decision to bring in Nico, all but ends Mick Schumacher’s Formula 1 career, with all seats confirmed for 2023 (Williams have confirmed Logan Sargent will race for them in 2023 as long as he gains enough super licence points)

The decision by HAAS to replace Mick is not a surprise, with quotes from both Team Principle and Owner questioning Schumacher’s ability.

GENE HAAS ON MICK SCHUMACHER

Mick Schumacher will be hoping options open for him in 2024, along with Daniel Ricciardo, how looks to be taking 2023 off with the intention of returning for the 2024 season.
