FERRARI REVEALS ONE-OFF MONZA LIVERY

Enzo Ferrari once said, “ask a child to draw a car, and certainly, he will draw it red”, but what about with a splash of yellow?

Ferrari has presented a striking one-off livery that will be used at this weekend’s Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.

The once all-red and black Ferrari has swapped out the traditional look for a dash of yellow, as a celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the Monza circuit and to recognize the history of Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari chose yellow to feature on the company’s coat of arms.

The F1-75 will feature several touches of yellow throughout the car, including on the front wing, the rear wing, around the halo, and on the engine cover. The drivers will be wearing yellow race suits and special helmets for the occasion.

Yesterday, Ferrari unveiled the yellow team gear Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will be sporting for this weekend’s action at Monza. Whilst the championship hopes may have faded slightly throughout the past few weeks, there are still plenty of reasons for the Tifosi to smile about. Ferrari appears confident they can challenge Red Bull for the victory this weekend, and say they are not concerned about Red Bull’s straight-line speed.

Still, it looks a lot better than Charles’ yellow banana suit, right?
