Alex Albon has announced he has extended his stint at Williams.
The British Thai driver has penned a multi-year deal with the Oxfordshire based team. It is unknown how long his contract is, but he has confirmed it is over multiple years.
Albon has had a successful return to F1, recording a tenth place finish in Australia and a ninth place finish in Miami, scoring all of Williams’ points in the process.
Talking of the announcement, Albon was pleased to extend his stay in Formula One.

It’s really exciting to be staying with Williams Racing for 2023,” Alex shared, continuing: ”and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve as a team in the remainder of this season and next year.
“The team is pushing hard to progress, and I am really motivated to continue this journey and further develop our learnings together.”

His team principal Jost Capito was pleased to announce the deal, as the team looks to try and work its way up the field with the new regulations.
