Welcome to our MotoGP 2026 Indonesian GP Race Live Blog!

There’s been thrills, spills and plenty of action so far in Mandalika, with the promise of plenty more still to come in today’s Grand Prix.

Friday was all about Aprilia, with Marco Bezzecchi leading the way in FP1, whilst Raúl Fernández was back on form and topping the timing sheets in Practice.

Fernández continued his dominant form in Saturday’s qualifying, setting a new all-time lap record and starting on pole for the first time in MotoGP. He was joined on the front row by Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio.

The Sprint got off to a chaotic start, with a first corner crash that took out both Fernández and Bezzecchi. Jorge Martín led for most of the race, until tyre pressure issues caused him to ultimately finish fourth.

In the end, it was Marc Márquez who took the Sprint win, breaking his Mandalika curse and taking the top step of the podium for the first time in Indonesia. With it came the championship lead, where he is now ahead of Martín by four points going into today’s main event.

Marc is no doubt looking to clinch the double in order to get maximum points and extent his lead in the title fight. Can Martín swap the order back around again? Will Fernández and Bezzecchi avoid any opening-lap drama? Whatever happens, it’s bound to be an exciting final day at the 2026 Indonesian GP.

Marco Bezzecchi wins the Indonesian Grand Prix!

It marks the 300th MotoGP win for Italy and marks his first podium in four months – the last was in Mugello back in May. Don’t count him out of the title fight just yet!

Last lap!

As it stands, it’s a clean sweep for Aprilia with both factory bikes and both Trackhouse bikes making up the top four

3 laps to go

Bezzecchi is comfortably leading, with Fernández a good distance behind him. Meanwhile Jorge Martín is cruising in third

Álex Márquez is making moves

He’s gotten back past Di Giannantonio as they have their own back-and-forth fight for seventh

The back-and-forth fight goes on

There’s a constant switching of positions between Acosta and Marc Márquez, but the KTM now seems to be comfortably ahead of the Ducati – but it’s not over yet as Ai Ogura has now also passed the reigning champ

Bezzecchi takes the lead on lap 19

The Aprilia rider has stormed past through Turn 1 and put the Trackhouse of Fernández firmly behind him

Marc is back past Acosta

Tyre pressure issues are starting to come into play, as Acosta is seen sitting the bike up and allowing Marc to sweep past

Ai Ogura is hunting down Álex Márquez

He made a bold move past the Gresini rider but went wide at Turn 10 and handed the place back to Álex

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu has retired from the race

He’s pulled into the garage and joins Aldeguer, Bagnaia and Miller on the list of non-finishers for today’s race

Acosta has passed Marc to take fourth

It’s not over yet though, as there was a hairy moment for Acosta which has brought Marc and Di Giannantonio back into play

Jack Miller has gone down at Turns 2 & 3

Yellow flags are out but the Aussie is up and looks to be ok

Fabio Di Giannantonio is dropping down the order

The setup of the bike doesn’t seem to be working, as Diggia is now sixth behind Pedro Acosta and under threat from Álex Márquez
