Daniel Ricciardo has been no stranger to rumours surrounding his F1 seat.
It is also no surprise, given the honey badger has been somewhat comprehensively beaten by his teammate in both qualifying and race results.
However, it has not been all doom and gloom for the Aussie, and he has tasted some success with the Woking based outfit. Most recently, he lead home a McLaren 1-2 at Monza in 2021 which capped off a solid weekend that weekend for him.

In light of all the recent rumours, Ricciardo has put out a statement on his Instagram:
Thre have been a lot of rumors around my future in Formula 1, but I want you to hear it from me.
I am committed to McLaren until the end of next year and am not walking away from the sport. Appreicate it hasn’t always been easy. but who wants easy!
I’m working my ass off with the team to make improvements and get the car right and back to the front, where it belongs.
I still want this more than ever. See you in Le Castellet.

So, there we have it. Daniel Ricciardo does indeed appear to be staying at McLaren for 2023, at least according to him.
