The Cathedral of Speed has already delivered a dramatic weekend, and Sunday’s Grand Prix looks set to continue the story.
Aprilia has been the team to beat in Assen. Jorge Martín claimed his first pole position of the season to lead a historic Aprilia top four in qualifying, while Raúl Fernández bounced back from narrowly missing pole to secure a dominant Sprint victory and lead Trackhouse to its first-ever MotoGP Sprint 1-2 alongside Ai Ogura.
Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi has shown strong pace throughout the weekend despite missing out on the Sprint podium, while Ducati will be hoping Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia can fight their way forward after a more difficult Saturday than expected.
With SuperFile Trackhouse and Aprilia carrying plenty of momentum into race day, all eyes will be on whether anyone can stop the Italian manufacturer from completing a dream weekend in the Netherlands.
With strategy, tyre management and the ever-unpredictable TT Circuit Assen all set to play their part, there’s still everything to race for.
