Max Verstappen has taken his third victory of the season.
The Dutch driver took a solid victory, after passing title rival Charles LeClerc in the early stages. The young duo had an exciting battle in the latter stages, however the fight put up by LeClerc was all in vain as the incumbent world champion held off to record another victory.
Rounding out the top four is Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez in P3 and P4 respectively. Both drivers enjoyed a good battle towards the end of the race, with both drivers looking to take the final podium spot. Ultimately, it was the resident chilli expert of the grid Carlos Sainz who took the final podium spot.
The Mercedes duo of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton had a much improved Sunday, with the British duo finishing P5 and P6 respectively. They finished ahead of former Mercedes driver and F1 barista Valtteri Bottas, who was on course for a P5 finish but went deep at the end allowing both Mercedes to pass and ultimately finished P7.
P8 and P9 sees the Alpine bromance continue, with Ocon finishing ahead of his Spanish teammate Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard copped a five second time penalty for a collision with Pierre Gasly. Rounding out the top ten is the Williams of Alex Albon, who gets another point on his return to F1.
Daniel Ricciardo has a tough day in the McLaren, failing to get into the points again and ultimately finishing P11. He finished ahead of Lance Stroll who drove a good race from the pitlane to finish P12 in a relatively uncompetitive Aston Martin.
Just behind the Canadian is Yuki Tsunoda in the Alpha Tauri. who came home P13. He was the Japanese filling in a Canadian sandwich with Nicholas Latifi coming home P14 in another disappointing showing for the Canadian.
P15 was Mick Schumacher, who was on course for his first points in F1, only to have a collision with his F1 mentor Sebastian Vettel. The two collided in the closing stages, causing Mick to drop to the back of the pack.
His Haas teammate Kevin Magnussen finished a classified P16, but had a DNF on the road after a tough day on the mean streets of Miami. He was classified ahead of Sebastian Vettel.
Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly had an untimely coming together, with Norris immediately retiring and bringing out the safety car whilst his stricken McLaren was recovered. Gasly retired shortly after with damage he sustained in the collision with Norris.
Zhou Guanyu encounted his first mechanical retirement of F1, and was the first retiree of the race.
