Montreal has already delivered one of the most dramatic weekends of the season, and after a tense Sprint Race earlier today, attention now shifts to Qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.
Mercedes once again set the pace in Canada, but the Sprint itself wasn’t without tension inside the team, with George Russell leading home a Mercedes 1-3 finish while Kimi Antonelli was right in the mix throughout in a fiercely competitive internal battle.
Behind them, the Sprint highlighted just how close things are at the front, with McLaren applying pressure and Ferrari still searching for consistency around Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The walls, as always, punished the smallest mistakes, and with track position proving crucial across the weekend so far, there’s plenty still to play for heading into Qualifying.
