Well, it’s now 9 down, Alpine has launched the A522 complete with the corporate pink of BWT, who are now the teams title sponsor.

The A522, launched with a striking blue and pink livery, has a push rod front rod suspension and a pull rod rear suspension. Alpine have also elected to have grill opening along the top of the sidepods, a similar design is being used by both Aston Martin and Ferrari.
The images released will have to be taken with a pinch of salt, as all teams will have upgrades ready for the opening round of the season in Bahrain.
EXPECTATIONS
Alpine, who has been on a bit of a restructure, heading down a more traditional route for 2022, with the hiring of Otmar Szafnauer as team principle, (they didn’t have a team principle for 2021). Laurent Rossi has explained the team has multiple expectations for the coming season, with fifth in the constructors being the minimum.
THE RETURN OF THE PINK PANTHER
Alpine, who launched the A522, with a prominently blue livery highlighted with BWT’s pink have also launched a more pink livery, this will be for the first two races of the season.
