The second car launch of 2022, was Redbull and the RB18.
ORACLE
Firstly Redbull launched its new title sponsor, Oracle have taken the coveted Redbull title sponsorship. The computer giant has agreed a 5 year deal that is said to be worth $100million (£74million) per year.
The RB18 will be the car to beat in 2022, after Max Verstappen took his first drivers championship in 2021.
Max Verstappen will take to the track with the traditional number one, replacing his usual 33.
In the past it was customary for the reigning champion to have the number 1 on the car, however, when Formula 1 decided to allow drivers to pick their own number, the decision to run it was left to the driver.
In an unchanged line up for 2022, Max and Sergio will be hoping to go one step better in 2022 and wrestle the Constructors Championship from Mercedes
RB18
The first look at the RB18 has arrived, the livery is well the same although they have a new title sponsor in Oracle.

On first Impressions, it looks as though 2022 cars will be different from eachother, the HAAS had quite small and higher sitting sidepods, the RB18 has a larger opening for the sidepods and doesn’t appear to sweep inward quite as much as the HAAS VF-22.
Time will tell exactly what is real in the car and what secrets Adrian Newey and Co has up their sleeves.
