One of the most established teams on the Formula E grid: Andretti. Showcasing a driver line-up built upon both experience and upcoming talent, the American outlet will chase their second Drivers’ Championship in the series.
Andretti Global
Showcasing a decorated racing portfolio within series including Indycar, Indy NXT and Formula E, Andretti Global is an American motorsports organisation founded in 1993.
Starting in 2026, Andretti will also operate Cadillac Formula One Team in collaboration with General Motors.
Andretti Formula E is one of the original teams in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, having competed in the series since its inaugural season in 2014/15.

The team achieved its first and only Drivers’ Championship in Season 9 with Jake Dennis at the start of the GEN3 era.
As Season 12 approaches, Andretti will hope to reign victorious once again as Dennis continues at the American outlet for the fifth consecutive season. He will be partnered by Felipe Drugovich, a new full-time signing to the all-electric championship.
Jake Dennis
Dennis debuted in the 2020/21 Formula E World Championship driving for BMW i Andretti alongside Maximilian Gunther.
Despite achieving zero points in the first four races, Dennis took his first win during the second race of the 2021 Valencia ePrix, and his second win at the first round of his home race in London. Overall, he finished the season third in the standings, placing as the highest rookie with 91 points.
The British driver remained with Andretti Autosport for the 2021/22 season, despite BMW withdrawing from the team. One race win and four podiums resulted in the Brit finishing the season in sixth with 126 points.
The 2022/23 season was a pivotal one for Dennis, who was able to clinch his first title in London with one race to go. Scoring 11 podiums, including two wins and podiums, he outscored his teammate Andre Lotterer by 206 points.

Returning to Andretti for the 2023/24 season, the British driver finished in seventh with 122 points, despite winning the first race in Diriyah in a dominant fashion, 13 seconds ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne in second.
Felipe Drugovich
With a decorated history in motorsport, including FIA Formula 3 and European Le Mans Series, season 12 sees Drugovich step into the all-electric championship full-time for the first time.
Most notably, just two days after taking the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2022, Drugovich went on to become the first member of the newly formed Aston Martin Driver Development Programme.
Since then, he has taken part in several free practice sessions and private tests for the team.

In April 2023, the Brazilian driver was selected to drive for Maserati MSG Racing during the Formula E Berlin rookie test. He finished first, setting a lap time just two tenths slower than the best time in the SABIC Berlin ePrix of Maximilian Gunther.
He returned with Maserati during the rookie practice session at the Rome ePrix, where he once again topped the timesheets.
During the 2025 Berlin ePrix, Drugovich made his Formula E debut with Mahindra racing, stepping in for Nyck de Vries who fulfilled duties within the FIA World Endurance Championship.
A difficult race one debut saw him finish in 17th, following a drive-through penalty due to a gearbox change. However, despite a challenging qualifying for the second race, the Brazilian was able to charge through the field and collect his maiden points in seventh.
Testing Showcases Mixed Fortunes
Four days of testing in Valencia indicated a mixed bag of results for Andretti.
Completing day one within the top three just 0.271s behind leader Pascal Wehrlein, Dennis showcased a strong start for the American outlet.
By day three, the British driver once again made a strong final showing, slotting into second between Edo Mortara and Nyck De Vries for Mahindra. As for Drugovich, he ended the session as the highest performing rookie in 11th, a few tenths off the day’s fastest time.
Overall, Andretti managed an impressive 586 laps across Valencia testing. Dennis completed the four days in sixth overall, with his best time sitting at a 1:21.599. Rookie Drugovich finished in 15th overall, with a best time of a 1:21.808.

Chasing Another Championship
As Andretti chase their second Drivers’ Championship in Formula E, the American outlet will hope to build on what they learnt throughout Valencia testing.
Familiar with the feeling of being a World Champion, Dennis shows ongoing promise to deliver strong results for the team.
Furthermore, with prior experience in the series, it will also depend on how Drugovich can settle into this style of racing compared to his closest rivals.
