If a flat out snow and ice challenge between motorsports best drivers sounds good to you, you should check out the race of champions this weekend.



The ROC has been around since 1988 with people like Michael Schumacher, Juan Pablo Montoya, Colin McRae and Lando Norris being among the past contenders.

This years event will see the champions race in Sweden, on a specially designed ice track tested and developed by Timo Schneider.

Father Son Duo of 2003 WRC champion Petter Solberg , and his son and current Hyundai WRC rookie, Swedish-Norwegian Oliver Solberg will be hoping for the home advantage but will have to fend off some big names including Current ROC champ Guerra in round 1.

They aren’t the only “home” team, with team Nordic Team Finland, Team Norway, and Team Sweden all being used to a bit of ice.
There is also a fair share of F1 names in this years race including: Bottas, Häkkinen, Vettel, Coulthard, Schumacher (Mick), and even Williams Development driver Jamie Chadwick.

Jamie’s amazing form in W series winning her two championships in the category is sparking interest from F3 teams, with the rumours circulating that Jamie will make a move to the series very soon.



It’s not only F1 superstars that are going to be battling for the title of ROC champ, Helio Castroneves straight off the back of his DPi class win and overall win at the 24 hours of Daytona. The Indy 500 winner will be keen to get going on the ice. Jimmy Johnson, the most successful NASCAR driver of all time and two esports stars, who will compete in a virtual race of champions to decide which two sim racers get to take on the snow.

The drivers will be using a number of cars including :

– RX supercar Lites
– RX2e
– FC1-X
– Polaris pro XP
