F3 Sprint Race British GP
It kicked off under grey morning skies for the F3 Sprint Race British GP, with 18 laps around the iconic Silverstone track. After an eventful qualifying yesterday the F3 drivers were ready to impress the Silverstone crowd.
Lap 1: Drama before turn two?
They all kept it fairly clean through the first few corners, until Badoer got stranded inside at The Loop, he took out Tsolov on his way to getting beached, ending his sprint prematurely. Tsolov was able to get moving again but his race was pretty much ruined from this point. That gravel mess triggered a virtual safety car, then a full one until lap 4 leaving just 14 competitive laps.

Restart Lap 4-7: Jostling up front
At the restart, Wurz grabbed a move on Câmara but Stenshorne muscled past Ho, climbing a place.
Meanwhile, Naël and Inthraphuvasak locked horns. Naël hit a sweet overtake to briefly lead but went off-track doing it. Stewards made him give it back, which he did (reluctantly? perhaps) but kept the pressure on.
Mid‑race: Trains, overtakes, and DRS
Van Hoepen passed Ho, pulling into a DRS queue. Camara got swallowed up by Tramnitz, who staged a neat overtake.
Ugochukwu pulled off a great move on Leon around the Wellington Straight, nabbing 7th.
On lap 15, Stenshorne bided his time, then took second from Naël; slow and steady paid off.
Laps 16–18: Chaos—but clean up front
Mari Boya surged two spots instantly in the mêlée between Naël and Van Hoepen, with Naël briefly coming off track again at Stowe.
On the final lap, Inthraphuvasak’s engineer tried to hype him over team radio, but he brushed it off: “leave me alone,” (He certainly has the racer language down)
Post‑race shenanigans
Sure enough, Naël was slapped with a 10‑second penalty for the off-track overtake; downgrading him to P12.

Final Word
The F3 Sprint Race British GP at Silverstone offered a neat mix; early chaos, strategic overtakes, and last-lap grit. Inthraphuvasak, Stenshorne and Boya each carved out their own narrative. Qualifying shone a spotlight on Tsolov, Ugochukwu, Câmara but the sprint reset came fast. That Naël penalty? A reminder: Silverstone punishes imperfection.
