Rodin Motorsport: A Team Of Winners

As the 2025 Formula 3 season begins, Rodin Motorsport is a team of winners. All three drivers are ready to fight for both titles.

The 2025 F3 pre-season test wrapped up after three days, with all ten teams gathering key data on the new car in varied track conditions.

Rodin’s F3 team has not always been a match for its representatives in other series, such as F2 or F1 Academy.

However, their improvement over the course of the 2024 season was promising.

The team found its footing in the second half of the season.

British driver Callum Voisin secured his first F3 win, and Rodin’s first 2024 F3 win, at Spa-Francorchamps.

In 2025, Louis Sharp and Roman Bilinski now join Voisin at Rodin Motorsport, sharing the goal of winning the F3 title.

Voisin Is Ready For More Success

The 19-year-old will continue racing with Rodin for his second season in F3.

Last season, he took his first podium at his home race in Silverstone.

Following this, he not only secured his first F3 win in Spa, but also received his first grand slam. He led every lap, set the fastest lap, and won from pole position.

He anticipates that his success in 2024 will be good motivation for 2025.

“ I mean, I’m feeling obviously quite good bringing all that experience into this year, knowing obviously I’ve already got a win under my belt and whatnot,” said Voisin. “You know, [that] can only be good for the season up ahead.”

“ I think consistency is the main thing, and making sure that you make the most of every qualifying round. I think that’s one thing that we kind of struggled with, especially at the start of the season.”

Sharp Is Familiar With Rodin

At just 17 years old, Sharp is already a champion.

He was the British F4 Champion in 2023 with Rodin Carlin, and the 2024 GB3 Champion with Rodin Motorsport.

He feels that these wins will help ease his transition into F3, since he has already been successful with Rodin.

“It’s the team I’ve been with my whole single-seater career, basically,” said Sharp. “The whole time I’ve been in the UK, I’ve been with this team. So, it fills me with good confidence knowing that I’ve had good success with the team in the past.”

“And obviously when I’m in the factory, when I’m working with all the engineers and all the team members, it’s all familiar faces that I’ve spent the last couple of years with. So it’s definitely a good place to be.”

Sharp recently became the youngest person ever to compete in the Race of Champions. He raced for Team New Zealand alongside rally champion Hayden Paddon.

Additionally, he recently joined the BRDC SuperStars program for 2025.

Bilinski Knows What To Expect

Roman Bilinski now races for Rodin Motorsport in 2025.

Representing Poland, the 21-year-old driver recently won the 2024 Formula Regional Oceania Championship with Trident. He has also won races in GB3.

Like Sharp, he has experience with Rodin, as he competed for Carlin Motorsport, now Rodin Motorsport, in British F4, back in 2021.

In F3, he will be racing against some of the same drivers that he competed against in these other series, on some of the same tracks. He discussed how these familiar conditions will make his job easier.

“I think it’s an advantage in a way, racing against drivers that I know,” Bilinski said. “You kind of know how they kind of are on track with overtaking, defending, things like this.”

“So you’ve got a good idea of how you need to look at an overtake or something like this, but, you know, also having the knowledge on the tracks is a big thing.”

“ No one really knows this car, but knowing the tracks I think is key. For sure we’ll go to some tracks that I don’t know, but eight of them I know, so it’s good.”

Friendly Competition

Although still getting to know the new F3 car for 2025, the Rodin drivers have already established good competitive relationships amongst one another.

“ I mean, my teammates, Callum and Louis, they’re both extremely fast on track,” said Bilinski. “So, I think we’re pushing each other, which is really good and pushes the team. But, you know, we all have a laugh as well.

“I think there’s a lot of banter at Rodin. So the vibe and the environment is very good.”

Season’s Beginnings

The team just finished their first race weekend of the 2025 season at Australia’s Albert Park.

Voisin finished ninth in the Sprint, but unfortunately had a DNF in the feature race after a collision with Nikola Tsolov.

Sharp finished 17th in the Sprint, and 14th in the Feature Race.

Bilinski earned his first F3 podium when he finished third in the Sprint, which also made him the first Polish driver to stand on the F3 podium. He finished ninth in the Feature Race.

The team is currently sixth in the Constructors’ Championship, with 12 points.
