There’s been yet another bout of post-race penalties for the F3 grid during the Belgian GP weekend – this time following the 2024 Feature Race.
ART’s Christian Mansell has been handed a ten-second time penalty for causing a collision with Arvid Lindblad earlier today. The Australian was found to be wholly to blame for the incident that saw Lindblad retire from the race. Mansell drops from P14 to P21 in the classification.
Rodin Motorsport’s Piotr Wiśnicki was next to be dealt a penalty by the Stewards. The Polish driver was found to have left the track and gained an advantage when attempting to pass Tommy Smith during the race. A ten-second time penalty was dealt to Wiśnicki, dropping him from P16 to P24.
Finally, Joseph Loake has the last of the penalties given out after the F3 Feature Race at the 2024 Belgian GP. The Brit was dealt a ten-second time penalty for causing a collision with Sophia Flörsch. The Rodin Motorsport collided with the Alpine Academy driver, ending her race. Stewards determined that Loake was fully responsible for the incident and now drops from P22 to P25.
