Richard Verschoor has been disqualified from the 2024 Hungarian GP F2 Sprint due to a technical violation. The Dutchman has had his win revoked after FIA officials found that the plank on Car #22 had a maximum thickness of 3.7mm at the most rearward scrutineering hole, below the minimum specified thickness in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Technical Regulations.”
The breach of Article 3.4.3 of the Technical Regulations means that Invicta Racing’s Kush Maini has inherited P1 at the 2024 Hungarian GP F2 Sprint. The victory marks the Indian driver’s first ever F2 race win. ART’s Victor Martins will move to P2 and Championship frontrunner Isack Hadjar is promoted to the final podium position. DAMS Lucas Oil’s Juan Manuel Correa will inherit the final point of the race in P8.
