Red Bull Junior Isack Hadjar will complete the FP1 session for Red Bull Racing at Silverstone this weekend. The 19-year-old will get behind the wheel of Sergio PĂ©rez’s car to complete the team’s first rookie driver requirement of the season.
Hadjar is set to drive alongside two more rookies in the Silverstone FP1 session. He’ll be on track with his fellow Formula 2 competitor and Williams Academy driver Franco Colapinto and Alpine Academy driver Jack Doohan, who will also complete sessions for their respective academies.
Hadjar has previously driven for AlphaTauri, now RB, at the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix and for Red Bull at the last FP1 session of 2023 in Abu Dhabi.
The Campos Racing driver has had a good season so far, sitting P2 in the Formula 2 Championship at the midway point. While he has garnered few points in the Sprint races, he has stood on the podium four times this season, including two Feature race wins. Sitting 11 points off the lead of the Championship, he’ll be looking to make it a third victory this weekend alongside completing a stint in the RB20 on Friday.
